Reader review . . .

Off-duty police Detective Matthew Longo was shot while picking up a pizza.  While recuperating, he withdraws from everyone because he has no idea who shot him or why.  Matthew’s best friend and partner, Donny Mello, is in Italy visiting family, and FBI agent Cynthia Shyler wants to know about Donny’s connection to the Mafia.
In Di Giacomo’s debut novel, he presents a police thriller that never stops.  Violence, suspense, sex, and Mafiosos will keep the reader glued to the book.  The raw realism and drama make for a classic page-turner.  While the changing point-of-view confused me a time or two, fans of gritty criminal noir will love this novel and beg for more.
