Review . . .
This collection of holiday-themed short stories is a great way to sample the works of several authors. All of the novellas fall into the category of cozy mysteries, with a few including a romantic angle.
“Menace at the Christmas Market” by Sara Rosett was one of the first to really grab my attention. I also enjoyed “Dying for Holiday Tea” by Linda Gordon Hengerer and “The Rowan Tree Twig” by Joanna Campbell Slan. My favorite was “The Deadliest Christmas Pageant Ever” by Teresa Trent. I have been following the Pecan Bayou series from the beginning and was really happy to encounter Betsy Livingston and her friends once more.
If you enjoy Christmas stories and mysteries, this anthology will be a great way for you to get into the holiday spirit.
